I was very much into this drama until episode 12 or 13 then it just went downhill for me. I did finish it but it start to rely heavily on "masculine toxicity" as something that's cute and desirable. The girl would constantly do things that were stupid and there was just no way someone could fall over that much it was exhausting. **_Spoiler_** I hated HATED that scene with them at the hotel in the last episode. I don't understand how a grown man (hotel clerk) would let strangers get one room together when its clear that the women (who is much smaller and weaker than the man) is uncomfortable. I'm sure it happens I just don't understand why this would be included in a drama that was supposed to be light and cute. And then when they do have sex she never says yes to it. This whole thing just upset me. I know what the writers were probably going for but this was not it. I think just sends the wrong tone.**_Spoiler_** I liked the fact that in the beginning they framed the girl as smart and intuitive but most of the time she never actually exhibited those characteristics. She constantly looked dumb though she was able to pick up on situations. The male lead was great in the beginning but his possessiveness and their constant misunderstandings of situations that they were in were just annoying. **_Spoiler_** Especially when he goes back to his family and he is helping his professor keep the sculpting department. It made no sense at all that he should keep that a secret in any way other then to create conflict. **_Spoiler_** Honestly the writers could have done a better job of finding something to create conflict over that was meaningful. The friends/roommates for both the Male Lead and Female Lead were amazing. I think they were what kept me watching the show the whole time. Each set of friends were very encouraging and helpful and none of them were toxic. I don't think I could find anyone that didn't like the roommates. They were there every step of the way to make sure that they would be able to help their friends. The two second leads were very different. I loved Song Siyi and I thought he was a better match for the Female Lead. They were comfortable and knew each other well. They had a great friendship and had they kept the friendship after she was dating Male Lead I think I would be okay with it but because of the ML's possessiveness she let that friendship die and that really annoys me. As for the Second Female lead she was a piece of work who needed a lot of therapy. Like Lots. **_Spoiler_** The ending she got was not deserved and I can't ever see a therapist being ok with it**_Spoiler_**
